A Turtle Film Moves From the Field to the Editing Suite

Our three days exploring Mexico’s Magdalena Bay are behind us and we have slowly been making our way back to New York — via San José del Cabo and now Salt Lake City.

Once back at Pace, we will dive into the daunting process of sifting and editing nearly half a terabyte of video to produce a short film on efforts to balance commerce and conservation in a region that remains in deep poverty and largely dependent on fishing.

The process was certainly not easy and while we came very prepared, we learned a lot along the way. Our shoots exceeded our expectations and our team has captured beautiful landscapes, intimate wildlife footage, and informative interviews. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, and we hope all of you are as excited to watch the story come together as we are. Continue following for updates and teaser footage.
